Dmitry Kovalev is an award winning writer-director based in Los Angeles, CA.

He has extensive experience directing and editing films and commercials, both practically and with the use of AI. His production experience includes working with LED walls (virtual production), supervising visual effects and camera work. Among the TV shows he had worked on are Your Honor, The Lincoln Lawyer, Station 19 and Our Flag Means Death, as well as motion pictures Insidious 5, M3gan, White Noise, Wolf Man, The Home.

Before becoming a full-time filmmaker, Dmitry had a decade-long career in advertising as a creative, working on campaigns for brands like PepsiCo, KFC, Braun, Cheetos, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, L'Oréal and others.

He has a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration from University of Hertfordshire (UK), and an MFA in Film & TV Production from USC School of Cinematic Arts.
